Yesterday was Patriots Day, so Scott had the day off (his work is known for giving weird random holidays off in spring/summer/fall because they have to work a lot in the winter).
We went for a ride and then brought Josie for a behavior analysis. I don't know if we'll be doing training with her. As far as training goes, she's all set. It's the confidence part that needs work. Usually I like the people we go to, but yesterday she made me feel like I was doing everything wrong, even though I know Josie has made TONS of progress! This picture is of Josie helping me navigate through construction to get to PetSmart!
Anyway, we're sticking with them for Sidka's training. We start May 18th.
Today is Earth Day, coincidentally, Scott couldn't find his work truck keys, so he was stuck riding with someone else...really it was a coincidence...I wouldn't have done that to him!
I haven't been feeling all that well, so today will just be a day of rest. This is Sidka and I on our day of rest (don't mind me surpise kisses face with no makeup).
For the rest of vacation I need to clean, organize, unpack. As well as focus on school stuff--like a paper I need to finish and misc homework. Then, I need to do some printing off of cover letters, applications, resumes and copies of certificates for applying to jobs.
When all of that is done, I can focus on some wedding stuff. By the way, here's my beautiful engagement ring.
Just because we only have a few more things to put money down on, we still need to do a lot of work. We already ordered and have the bridesmaid dresses, my dress, my veil, our shoes, his wedding band, and the groomsmen's ties and cuff links.
I need to narrow down cake flavors and fillings, we need to work on the table center pieces, I need to figure out the DJ/music situation, we need to plan the honeymoon (Scott's dad is treating), I need to write a check for the deposit for the photographer, I need to mail out the invitations (and I need to continue nagging Scott for his addresses of people he wants to invite). Among a whole list of other things. Ugh.
Maybe later I will do an a little reminiscing on mine and Scott's meeting, the proposal and our family!
